Lot Description
An 18k gold key wind open face pocket watch, the white enamel dial having black Roman numeral hour markers, winding aperture between three and four o'clock and an outer minute track with black Arabic numerals at five minute intervals, the case testing as 18ct, with decoration to middle, fitted with an unsigned gilt fusee and chain movement with verge escapement and pierced balance bridge. Case diameter 41mm.

Open faced pocket watch, key winding manual movement is currently functioning, dial has a crack over the '40' numeral outside the minute track, dial also has a chip over the 'IIII' numeral by the hole for the winding mechanism, dial has some small marks, hands show marks and tarnishing to its edge between 8 and 11 o'clock, glass shows chips to the edge and small marks, case has light scratches as a result of general use, back of the case has a tiny dint towards the centre, bow has tarnishing.
