Lot Description
A George III silver key wind pair-case pocket watch, the white enamel dial having black Roman numeral hour markers and outer minute track, the plain cases, hallmarked London 1810, makers mark possibly WL, the outer case complete with miniature map of England, fitted with a gilt full plate fusee and chain movement signed James Williams, London, with verge escapement, undersprung balance and pierced balance cock. Case diameter 55mm.

Pair-case pocket watch, key winding manual movement is currently functioning, dial shows a chip with a temporary repair outside the minute track at 4 o'clock, 'XII' numeral shows a small chip and the dial has some small marks, hands show tarnishing, glass has some tiny marks and light scratches, case shows scratches and small dints to the rear, front of the case has a visible scratch at 5 o'clock, sides of the case shows wear which looks to have been caused by being inside the outer case, side of the case has some small dents and marks around 8 o'clock, bow appears to show wear, outer case has scratches and small dents to the back.
