Lot Description
A Victorian silver key wind open face pocket watch by Longines and retailed by Baume Brothers, the white enamel dial having black Roman numeral hour markers, the case, hallmarked London 1885, with milled middle and engine turned design to rear, fitted with a frosted gilt signed fifteen jewel movement with right angle club tooth lever escapement and overcoil hairspring. Case diameter 48mm.

Open faced pocket watch, key winding manual movement is currently functioning, dial shows some tiny marks, hands appear to be in good condition with light marks, glass is noticeably cracked and appears to have adhesive to the edge at 5 o'clock, case has marks and scratches as a result of general use, case band has small dents at 2 o'clock, back of the case shows signs of wear to the edges, inner back case has light but visible scratches.
