A Victorian silver key wind open face pocket watch, the white enamel dial having black Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock and outer minute track, the heavily rubbed case, hallmarked Birmingham 1851, at one time with milled middle and engine turned design to rear and vacant cartouche, fitted with a gilt full plate fusee and chain movement signed G C Hallon Lancaster, with right angle ratchet tooth lever escapement, undersprung balance and diamond end stone. Case diameter 49mm.

Open faced pocket watch, key winding manual movement is currently functioning however it may require some attention, dial shows a significant and noticeable temporary repair to the edge between 3 and 4 o'clock, dial also has various cracks and small marks, hands show marks, glass has small scratches and marks, case has marks and scratches as a result of general use, case band is worn, hinges to open both the front and the rear of the case show wear to the corners, back of the case has denting around the edges and wear to the vacant cartouche, pendent bow show marks.
