Lot Description
An early 20th century 9ct rose gold keyless wind full hunter pocket watch by Thomas Russell & Son, the signed white enamel dial having black Arabic numeral hour markers, date aperture to six o'clock and outer minute track, the plain case, hallmarked Chester 1926, with 9ct cuvette, fitted with a signed seven jewel Premier movement with straight line club tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 50mm.

Full hunter pocket watch, keyless manual winding movement is currently functioning, dial shows some small marks and there appears to be crazing right of centre, dial also has a crack between the 10 and 11 o'clock numerals, hands show tarnishing, glass shows some small marks, case has scratches and marks as a result of general use, case band has scratches by the lip to open the rear, back of the case shows visible scratches, hinges show wear to the corners, button has wear to the plating.
