Lot Description
A 20th century 18k gold keyless wind open face fob watch signed J.W. Benson, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial to the six o'clock position, bordered by a minute track, the plain case with London import hallmark 1908, signed movement with jewelled train and club tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 33mm. With base metal chain and presentation case.

Open face fob watch, keyless manual winding movement is currently functioning, dial shows some marks, most prominent of these is to the subsidiary seconds dial below the 60 numeral, hands show marks, glass has light scratches and marks, case has scratches and marks as a result of general use, case band has a light dent at 4 o'clock, back of the case shows some small but noticeable dints and scratches, inner back case has light but visible scratches, hinge has wear to the corners.
Metal chain shows marks, scratches and has a repair to the links, chain shows tarnishing, lobster claw clasp shows distortion, dents and is not closing correctly.
