An early 20th century 18ct gold keyless wind open face pocket watch by Rowell, the white enamel dial with hourly applied black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, all surrounded by an outer minute track, the plain case, hallmarked Chester 1906, fitted with a signed three quarter plate going barrel movement with partial chaton set jewelling, right angle club tooth lever escapement, bi-metallic compensation balance and overcoil hairspring. Case diameter 48mm.

Condition Report
Rowell open face pocket watch, keyless manual winding movement is currently functioning, dial shows some small marks, hands have tarnishing and marks, glass has scratches to the centre, case has scratches as a result of general use, front of the case has a small dent at 10 o'clock, back of the case features a personal engraving, back shows some small dints, hinge holding the back of the case shows wear to the corners, inner back case shows scratching around the opening lip.
