Lot Description
An early 20th century silver keyless wind half hunter pocket watch by Thomas Russell and Son, the white enamel dial having black Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock and outer minute track, the case, import hallmarked London 1919, the front with chapter ring with blue enamel Roman numerals, both front and back with engine turned designs, rear with vacant cartouche, cuvette with personal inscription, fitted with a signed fifteen jewel movement with club tooth lever escapement and overcoil hairspring. Case diameter 50mm. Motion work is A/F. Together with a silver Albert chain with T-bar, silver fob and lobster claw termination.

Condition Report
Open faced pocket watch, keyless manual winding movement is not currently functioning, dial shows some small marks and chips to the centre of the subsidiary seconds dial, hands have marks, glass also shows small marks, case has scratches and marks as a result of general use, case also shows patches of tarnishing, front of the case shows loss to the chapter rings blue enamel Roman numerals, front of the case is missing its glass centre, case band has dents at 12 o'clock and between 6 and 7 o'clock, hinges have wear to the corners, inner back case has noticeable scratches.
The Albert chain is in good condition overall, the links are displaying general scratches, marks and tarnishing to the whole, links are articulating freely, no obvious replacement links, clasp appears to be secure and appear to show marks and tarnishing, T-bar has some tarnishing and light scratching, fob shows marks, scratches and tarnishing as well as wear to plating.
