An early Victorian 18ct gold split pearl and diamond cluster ring, the central old European cut diamond surrounded by four split pearls, further outer diamond detail and black enamelled shoulder detail. Hallmarks for London 1846. Weight 3.37gms.

Condition Report
Overall fair to good condition, with light surface scratches in keeping with general wear. The hallmarks to the inside of the shank are clear, the back panel is missing. There is a personal inscription around where the back panel would have been which reads 'Mary Kandall Oct 29. Aug 1847. There are some chips to the surface of the enamel and to two sections there are chips to the edge where you can see the gold base. There is some pitting and small cracks to the nacre of the split pearls. There is a chip to two of the diamonds, some of the settings may need attention. Ring size K.
