A George V Royal Army Medical Corps brooch, depicting a central snake within a foliate design surround, with the inscription 'In Arduis Fidelis' surmounted by a red enamel crown. Length 4cms. Weight 6.9gms. AF.

Condition Report
The brooch is in overall good condition. Sympathetically repaired. A solder repair line can be seen where the snake may have become detached at some point. The diamond detail is a mixture of rose, single and old European cut diamonds. They are bright and lively. All settings will need attention to check the security of the settings. Chips can be seen to the blue enamel detail. Light scratches and scuffs are present, general wear.
