A mid Victorian ring, circa 1850 with graduated cushion shaped garnets interspaced by green paste. Hallmark rubbed. Weight 2.4gms.

The ring is in fair overall condition with scratches and very small dents in keeping with general wear. Most of the paste stones have chips. The band may be a composite of the head, the openwork shoulders and the lower engraved band, with soft solder joins and partially obscured hallmarks. Ring size O.
