Lot Description

A Victorian diamond star brooch circa 1880, the central old European cut diamond surrounded by six graduated diamond set rays and interspaced stemmed diamonds. Estimated total diamond weight 3.50cts, colour H-J, clarity SI1-P1. Diameter 3.4cms. Weight 6.56gms.

The brooch is in overall good condition. The diamonds are lovely and bright some of the settings may need to be secured. There are slight scratches to the setting and back, the pin and catch is secure. The back pin was once removable and is now fixed with the back screw filed down and removed.
