A 9ct white gold Royal Air Force sweetheart diamond set brooch, for the Bomber Command regiment with a crown and winged motif set small sapphires within a blue enamel surround, single cut diamond detail and inscription 'Strike Hard Strike Sure' with red enamel crown surmount. With hallmarks for Birmingham 1989. Stamped JWB. Length 3.7cms. Weight 12.2gms.

The brooch is in overall good condition. The stones will brighten with a good clean. All settings will need attention to check the security of the stones. No obvious chips can be seen to the enamel. Light scratches and scuffs can be seen, general wear.
