Lot Description
Two brooches, the first of cartouche shape outline with split pearl, star and rope twist scrolling detail, the second set with an oval shape amethyst to the double bar.

Condition Report
Overall fair condition, with surface scratches and nicks throughout inkeeping with general wear. The enamel to the split pearl and enamel brooch has been repaired and is a slightly different colour and finish to the original enamel. The pin is in working order but is a replacement pin and clasp. There is minor abrasion to the amethyst facet edges, there is some green tarnishing to the amethyst mount. To one end of the brooch there is a bad repair with excess solder covering the detail and a split behind the brooch attachment, and a further split, there is also a split to the solder join at the other end of the brooch.
