Lot Description

A 9ct gold opal pendant, the oval shape opal within a wirework surround to the rose cut diamond surmount with knife-edge spacer, suspended from a fine link chain. Chain with hallmarks for Birmingham. Length 52cms. Weight 2.1gms.

The pendant is in overall good condition. Both diamonds are tinted brown and fairly heavily included, the inclusions are easily visible with the unaided eye,  the collets to the diamonds are tarnished black. The opal has a good play of colour displaying pinks, greens and blues, there are some nibbles to the edging of the opal. The chain is in good condition and the clasp is secure.
