An Italian late 19th century circular brooch circa 1880, the applied central letters 'ROMA' are within a tiered border of intricate canetille detail. Diameter 38mm. Weight 8.9gms. AF.

Condition Report
The brooch is in overall good condition. A small area of the twist rope detail has broken off the one of the inner rims. This is not easily noticeable. The central panel is bruised slightly in two places. Light scratches and scuffs can be seen, in keeping with age.
