Lot Description

An Edwardian 18ct gold diamond and amethyst cluster ring, the oval amethyst is in a claw setting with single cut diamond detail to the tip of each claw. Hallmarks for Chester 1906. Cluster head added at later date. Length 18mm. Weight 5.5gms.

The ring is in overall good condition. The amethyst is scratched and scuffed to the surface. Re-polishing recommended. The diamond detail is dull. The diamonds are not set straight within their settings. The cluster head has been added to the ring shank at a later date. The hallmark to the earlier ring shank is clear. Light scratches and scuffs can be seen, general wear.
