Condition Report
Overall fair to good condition, with light surface scratches and minor nicks throughout, also tarnishing, all in keeping with the age of the piece. We believe the brooch to be silver fronted gold. The pin is in good working order. The sapphire is heavily abraded and would benefit from a re-polish, there are minor nibbles to the girdle and minor nicks to the pavilion facets. To the sapphire there are some small inclusions including a fingerprint inclusion, it is light blue in colour with an even colour saturation. The diamonds are bright and lively, some of the settings may need attention. The box is in a fair condition with wear in keeping with the age of the piece, clasp is in working order.
