A late 19th/early 20th century 18ct gold five stone ruby and diamond carved half hoop ring, the three oval rubies interspaced by old European cut diamonds. Estimated total diamond weight 0.95cts, colour I-J, clarity SI2.

Condition Report
The ring is in overall fair condition. There are scratches and areas of discolouration to the ring in keeping with the age of the piece. There is slight abrasion to the facet edges of the rubies visible with magnification, there are visible dark internal fractures to the outer rubies visible with the unaided eye, the rubies are a rich red with an even saturation of colour, the interspaced diamonds are quite nice and bright. One of the diamonds appears to have slightly overlapped and may need attention, some of the claws may need to be secured. Ring size W.
