A Victorian aquamarine brooch circa 1880, the central oval aquamarine flanked by pear shape aquamarines in a slanted design, surrounded by an intertwined foliated engraved border. Length of brooch 2.8cms, width 4.5cms. Weight 10.71gms.

Condition Report
The brooch is in overall fair condition. There are some chips to the facet edges of the central aquamarine visible without magnification, the aquamarines are all quite pale in colour, the claw settings appear secure. There is some greening to the backs of the settings. There are slight scratches to the outer surround, the back pin is metal and has possibly been replaced, there are few dents to the hollow surround.
