Condition Report
The basket displays general wear and surface marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use. Some of the scratches are more visible to the interior of the bowl. There is a little bit of tarnishing, more visible in the decorated areas. There are also some minor nicks and dints in the metal, which are more visible on the areas of plain silver. The embossed decoration appears to be in generally good condition. There is a little bit of wear to the engraved crests. The decoration on the handle displays more wear and the seam line is visible in the centre. Hallmarks and makers marks to the underside are slightly rubbed but still clear and legible. There is an additional mark 'WEST', possibly a retailer mark.
