Pair of early twentieth century silver urn shaped peppers, hallmarked Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd London 1915, height measuring 3 1/2 inches (9 cm). Together with a modern silver salt and pepper, hallmarked Birmingham 1989, height measuring 2 1/4 inches (6 cm). (2).

The pair of peppers display general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing, they are filled and have had a temporary tape placed to the base, the hallmarks are clear and legible to the bodies and lids, makers mark partly distorted. The modern pair display general scratches, marks and tarnishing, a few small dints visible, the hallmarks are clear and legible.
