A silver plated wine coaster, the pierced cylindrical sides decorated with scrolling foliate motifs surrounding a crested cartouche, on spreading mounted wooden base. Maker Hawksworth, Eyre & Co. Maximum height measures 4 1/4 inches (11cm).

The item displays general wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. There are surface marks and scratches and also some small nicks and dints. There are some noticeable cracks around the base rim. The marks are slightly distorted but still legible.
