Lot Description

A set of six Norwegian silver dessert forks, each with tapering stem leading to a pierced scrolling terminal, in original fitted case.  Various struck marks to reverse of stem '830S', mark for maker Magnus Aase, Bergen, also with further struck mark 'NM' and three forks with additional inscribed mark 'M.AASF'.  Gross combined weight 4.2 ozt (130 grams).

Overall the forks appear to be in fairly good condition.  There is slight tarnishing and general light surface marks and scratches.  Some of these scratches are deeper and more noticeable in places.  Marks to each are clear and legible.
