A late 19th century Russian silver-gilt and cloisonné enamel sifter spoon, stamped with the fineness standard of 84 and the town mark for St.Petersburg, the exterior of the bowl decorated with a wide border depicting enamel floral and foliate scrolling motifs in shades of turquoise, red, pink, green and blue, the stem with twist detail leading to a King's style shaped terminal with conforming enamel decoration to front and back. Length measuring 6 1/2 inches (16.5cm).

Condition Report
The spoon displays general wear and surface marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use. There are some pin prick marks to the underside of the bowl. There are some small chips to the enamel decoration, probably more so to the terminal than the bowl. The mark is slightly rubbed but still clear and legible.
