Lot Description
An Italian table cigarette box of cylindrical form, the sides decorated with panels of vertical wavy lines in between narrower plain panels and with twin lion mask and ring handles, the detachable lid with foliate finial, the whole standing on four scrolling feet. Stamped to lid and main body with 800, the five pointed star symbol, 197 and FI (Firenze). Height including lid 4. 1/2inches (11.5cm), weight 6.04 ozt (188 grams).

Condition Report
The item displays general wear. There are various light surface marks and scratches and a little tarnishing. There are some minor nicks in the metal and also a little wear and rubbing to the wavy line decoration. One of the lion masks has a couple of little holes in the metal near to one of the eyes. Stamped marks are on the inner rim of the lid and near to the top of the main body, they are slightly rubbed but still clear and legible.
