Lot Description

An American circular dish, the plain form with slightly flared rim and standing on a spreading circular foot.  Marked to the underside 'Shreve Crump & Low Co. sterling 805', and with additional marks 'By P.Revere Boston 1768 Sons of Liberty Reproduction'. Diameter measures 5 inches (13cm), weight 7.29 ozt (226.9 grams).

The dish displays general wear and surface marks and scratches.  There is also some tarnishing.  There are some more evident deeper scratches to the interior and various nicks in the metal.  There are also some nicks in the metal around the flared rim and foot rim.  Marks to the underside are all very clear and legible.
