Continental sugar bowl of spherical engraved form with twin handles and detachable lid surmounted with a swooping bird. Marks to the body and lid. Total height measuring 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm), weight 8 ozt (251 grams).

The sugar bowl displays general scratches, marks and tarnishing. Runs of solder visible around the joins of the handles. A few shallow minor dints and bumps. Continental marks visible to the lid, body and a different mark to the mount of the finial, all clear and legible.
