Lot Description

A German silver export spoon with crucifixion finial. Hallmarked  B Muller & Son (Berthold Muller) London import 1902, further possible marks for B. Neresheimer & Sohne, Hanau. Height measuring 7 inches (18 cm), weight 2.2 ozt (70 grams).

The spoon appears in good overall condition, there are general scratches, marks and tarnishing in keeping with the age and use. Empty pin hole towards the top of the stem, below the finial. The spoon has a superficial aged appearance in keeping with Hanau silver. The hallmarks are clear and legible, Hanau marks partly rubbed.
