Lot Description

Victorian silver fruit spoon with shell bowl hallmarked Hayes Brothers Birmingham 1894, height measuring 7 3/8 inches (19 cm). Together with two 1930's silver Apostle spoons, hallmarked Thomas Bradbury & Sons Ltd London 1935. Gross combined 3.7 ozt (115 grams).

The fruit spoon displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing, the handle has become bent and large amounts of solder visible between the handle and bowl, the hallmarks a little distorted but clear and legible. The Apostle spoons also display general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing, the two spoons differ slightly with different Apostle finials and hallmarks size and position. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
