George II silver mote spoon by Edward Pocock, together with George III Irish silver sugar nips by Benjamin Taitt; Georgian Irish silver coffee spoon by Christopher Skinner; Victorian Irish silver teaspoon with Celtic pointed star terminal by John Smith, retailed by Wallace; George III Scottish silver teaspoon made by M&B and a pair of George III silver teaspoons by John Langlands II Newcastle. Condition Report
Overall the spoons and sugar nips display general scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The mote spoon displays some pitting to the bowl and is split on the edge of the piercing. The majority of the items have a personal initial engraving. The Irish coffee spoon displays heavier wear with a thin and abrasively scratches bowl also a dent to the terminal. The hallmarks overall are in good condition commensurate with the age of the items, the mote spoon only has part of the maker's mark visible and possible remnants of the lion passant.
