Lot Description
Three early 20th century silver thimbles, two decorated all over with stylised flower motifs, the other with all over dimpled decoration, hallmarked Chester 1919, 1922 and 1923 (various maker's). Together with two more modern silver thimbles, the larger example hallmarked Birmingham 1986 and the smaller example stamped 'sterling silver'. (5).

Condition Report
All thimbles display general wear and surface marks and scratches. There is also a little tarnishing to some. The 1922 'dimpled' thimble has a misshapen rim. The 1923 'flower motif' thimble also has a slightly misshapen rim. The smaller 'sterling silver' thimble is very misshapen around the rim. The circular rim on the 1986 thimble appears to be coming away slightly from the main body. Hallmarks are slightly rubbed but are all still clear and legible.
