Lot Description

Victorian silver mounted hip flask with detachable cup revealing a glass liner, the body with leather covered shoulders and hinged domed lid with locking mechanism. Hallmarked James Dixon & Sons Ltd Sheffield 1898. Height measuring 5 1/2 inches (14 cm).

The hip flask displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. The leather has begun to split on the seam around the neck. Small dent visible to the domed lid. The hallmarks to the detachable cup are clear and legible, makers mark noticeable rubbed, the hallmarks to the domed lid appear distorted but legible.
