Condition Report
The case displays general wear commensurate with the age and use. There is some tarnishing and also wear to the edges and especially the corners. There are also numerous scratches all over the case and some of these are fairly deep. There are some small dints in the metal, in particular to the right side of the engraved initials. The hinge and clasp are in working order, although there is a small gap when closed. There is a large split in the metal to the front of the case, it is right next to the hinges and practically runs the whole length of the case. The hallmarks and part hallmarks to the interior are clear and legible.
