Each box displays general surface marks and scratches and a little tarnishing.  The hinges feel quite loose on the rectangular box with  the floral engraving, so that the lid does not close tightly.  The circular box has a large split in the metal around the lid and the hinges are also loose so that it does not close tightly.  There are also some dints in the metal.  The hinges on the other two are in good working order.  On the smaller rectangular box, there is loss of detail to the decoration on the lid and also a possible repair.  On the whole, the marks on each are clear and legible.
