Lot Description

Late Victorian miniature silver scent bottle of plain cylindrical form and domed hinged lid with opening to reveal a gilt interior and glass stopper. Hallmarked Birmingham 1900 with the maker's mark M&A. Height measuring 4 cm.

The miniature scent bottle displays general scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The lid displays soem dents. The hinge pin slightly aligned to one side and the hinge allowing some sideways movement. The lid and body do not align perfectly. The hallmarks positioned to the underside are clear and legible.
