Lot Description

Miniature Victorian silver scent bottle with floral embossing, the hinged domed lid opening to reveal a glass stopper. Hallmarked Charles May Birmingham 1894. Height measuring 35 mm.

The scent bottle displays general scratches, marks, tarnishing and wear commensurate with the age and use. Minor nibbles and abrasions visible to the glass stopper under close inspection. The interior of the lid has previously been gilded this has now worn and is discoloured. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
