Edwardian cased silver butter dish of ornate shell form, hallmarked Atkin Brothers Sheffield 1901. Together with an associated silver butter knife of plain form hallmarked Garrard & Co Ltd Sheffield 1971. Gross silver weight 2.4 ozt (74 grams).

The cased butter dish and knife are in good overall condition, they do display general scratches, marks and wear. The butter dish appears heavily tarnished. Although the knife is associated it fits well in the case. The hallmarks are clear and legible. The clasp on the case is not in working order.
