A modern silver caddy spoon, modelled as a jockey's cap and embossed with foliate and star motifs against a reeded background and with a vacant shield cartouche to the peak. Hallmarked Francis Howard Ltd., Sheffield 1962. Maximum length measuring 5cm, weight 10.4 grams.

The item displays general wear and minor surface marks and scratches. There is also some tarnishing. There are some minor nicks and dints, especially around the edge and towards the rear of the cap. There is a gouge going through the hallmarks and maker's mark but all are still legible.
