Lot 425

Lot Description

Edwardian silver novelty pin cushion, modelled as a fox with the head turned to one side.  Hallmarked Levi & Salaman, Birmingham 1909.  Maximum length measures 6cm.

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

The fox displays general wear commensurate with the age and use.  There are minor surface marks and scratches and some tarnishing.  There is a little loss of detail to the fur moulding in places, mainly on the tips of the ears and around the edges.  Otherwise the overall condition appears to be okay.  The hallmarks are still clear and legible.  There is obvious wear and deterioration to the cushion.
