Lot Description

Early twentieth century silver waiter made by R & S Garrard & Co (Sebastian Henry Garrard) with Chippendale style rim, personal presentation engraving and raised above three scroll feet. Hallmarked London 1911. Diameter measures 6 1/4 inches (16 cm), weight 7 ozt (217 grams).

The waiter displays general scratches, marks, tarnishing and wear commensurate with the age and use. The engraving reads 'Harry Tyson with grateful thanks from from the Pearson family Gressingham 1949-1974'. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
