Lot Description

A pair of 1920's silver open salts of cauldron form and raised on three shell mounted feet. Hallmarked S Blanckensee & Sons Ltd Birmingham 1922. Gross weight 3.4 ozt (108 grams).

Both salts display general wear and considerable tarnishing.  Both have surface marks and scratches and also several dints in the metal to the main bodies.  There are also remnants of tape to the underside of each salt.  The circular gadrooned rim to one of the salts is slightly misshapen.  Hallmarks to both are rubbed but still legible.
