Lot Description
A 20th century 9ct gold keyless wind full hunter pocket watch by Thomas Russell & Son, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals bordered by a minute track, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, the plain round case with Chester hallmark for 1924, numbered 7893, signed fifteen jewel movement with club tooth lever escapement and overcoil hairspring. Case diameter 49mm. Total weight 87.7gms.

Full hunter pocket watch, keyless manual winding movement is currently functioning, dial shows various cracks with the most noticeable being by the 'IX' numeral, dial also shows marks, hands show tarnishing and small pieces of debris appear to be attached to the minute hand, glass is scratched and shows marks which appear to be adhesive to the edges, case has marks and scratches as a result of general use, front cover shows a noticeable dents, case band has dents at 6 o'clock, back of the case also shows a dent towards the edge, tarnishing around the lip to open the back, inner back cover has a noticeable scratch, hinges have wear to the corners, bow shows distortion.
