Lot Description
A Victorian silver open faced key wind pocket watch, the silver dial having raised gold tone Roman numerals with central floral decoration, outer minute track with gilt decoration, subsidiary seconds dial at six o'clock, the round case with milled band, engine turned decoration and monogrammed cartouche to the rear, hallmarked London 1873, fitted with a full plate fusee movement with ratchet tooth escapement signed Adam Burdess, Coventry. Case diameter 51mm.

Open faced pocket watch, key wind manual movement is not currently functioning, dial shows some marks, hands also show some marks and the minute hand appears to be distorted, glass has some light marks, case has scratches and marks as a result of general use, case is also tarnished, back of the case shows wear to the edge of the engine turned design, rear hinge show wear to right hand corner, pendent and bow show marks and tarnishing.
