Lot Description
A Victorian silver key wind open face pocket watch, the white dial with hourly applied black Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track with outer Arabic indications, case having milled band and vacant cartouche to rear, hallmarked London 1876 maker's mark JW, fitted with an unsigned three quarter plate movement numbered 90340 with English lever escapement. Case diameter 56mm.

Open faced centre seconds pocket watch, key wind manual movement is not currently functioning, dial shows a noticeable crack between the 'V' and 'VI' numerals, dial also shows some marks, minute and seconds hands have become detached and are trapped between the dial and glass, minute hand is distorted, hands also show marks, glass shows marks and scratches, case has marks and scratches as a result of general use, front of the case shows a visible scratch and dint at 5 o'clock, back of the case has various noticeable dents and wear to the engine turned decoration, hinges show wear to the corners.
