Lot Description
A late Victorian silver key wind open face pocket watch, the white dial with hourly applied black Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, subsidiary seconds dial positioned to six o'clock, case with milled band and vacant cartouche to rear, hallmarked Chester 1899, fitted with a signed full plate fusee chain movement with ratchet club escapement. Case diameter 58mm.

Open faced pocket watch, key wind manual movement is currently functioning, dial has some visible marks which are partially prominent to the subsidiary seconds dial, hands show tarnishing and marks, glass has marks and small scratches which a chip to the edge at 6 o'clock, case has scratches and marks as a result of general use, back of the case shows wear to the engine turned decoration and some light dents, hinges have wear to the corners.
