Lot Description
A silver key wind open faced pocket watch by W. H. Wrightman, East Kirkey, the white enamel dial having bold black Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock with Arabic divisions and an outer minute track, the heavily rubbed decorated case, hallmarked Chester 1901, with engine turned design to the rear along with a vacant cartouche, fitted with a signed full plate fusee and chain movement with a ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 59mm. Together with a silver key wind pocket watch. (2)

Open faced pocket watch by W.H Wrightman, key winding manual movement is currently functioning, dial shows some marks with a tiny chip outside the minute track at 6 o'clock, hands also show marks and the end of the hour hand is distorted, glass has visible scratches, case has marks and scratches as a result of general use, case band shows scratching by the lip to open the front, back of the case has a dent to the edge as well as wear to the engine turned decoration, inner back case is scratched, bow shows marks and scratches.
Open faced pocket watch by Freeman & Co., key winding manual movement is currently functioning, dial shows cracks radiating out from the centre towards 2 o'clock and to the subsidiary seconds dial, dial also shows some small marks, hands show marks, glass has a chip to the edge between 7 and 8 o'clock and scratches, case has marks and scratches as a result of general use, case front and band show various dents, back of the case has wear to he engine turned decoration, back of the appears to show a repair by the hinge to the inside, inner back cover has a noticeable dent by the hinge.
