Lot Description
A 20th century continental metal key wind open face fob watch, the white enamel dial with hourly applied black Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track with floral decoration to the centre, case also having floral decorations and vacant cartouche to rear, stamped 0.935 with Swiss control mark, fitted with an unsigned Swiss movement with cylinder escapement. Case width 38mm.

Open faced fob watch, key wind movement is not currently functioning, although the cylinder appears free from damage to the plugs, the escape wheel teeth are filthy and movement is dirty with traces of dried oil in the oil sinks, dial is dirty with damage around the edges, particularly to the right side and bottom where the copper back plate is visible, there are some light chips around the central aperture, both hands are present, the blued finish has been worn away at the edge of the hour hand boss and there is some very light tarnishing present, glass is filthy with scuffs to the edges, scratches and nicks but the face is not obscured, case is lightly rubbed with scratches, marks and tarnishing as a result of general wear, back has been slightly compressed, hinges appear free of excessive play, bow is tarnished and is loose. Pendant button is functional.
