A late 19th/early 20th century ruby and diamond brooch, circa 1890. The oval-shape ruby flanked by diamond point scrolls. Length 3.5cms.

Condition Report
The brooch is in overall good condition. There is slight abrasion to the facet edges of the ruby only really visible with 10x magnification. There are chips to some of the diamond points visible with magnification. There are scratches and areas of wear to the setting and back pin in keeping with the age of the piece. Some of the claws may need to be secured. The back pin and catch is secure.
