Lot Description

An early 20th century ruby and diamond hinged bangle. The circular-shape rubies interspaced by old European-cut diamonds to the split half-bangle. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1902. Inner diameter 5.8cms. Weight 7gms.

The bangle is in overall fair/poor condition. There are some quite serious dents to the back of the bangle. The rubies are fairly well matched, there is slight abrasion to the facet edges of one of the outer rubies visible with magnification. The safety chain is metal and has been replaced. The hinge is in good condition and the clasp is secure.
